Are men really designed to love, protect and provide for a woman, or is that just a fairytale …
I keep bumping into guys that seem like that’s what they want from me. They want me to love, protect and provide for them.

The majority of these losers live in ATL! If they aren’t down low, they are looking for a hand out. If he is willing to stay home and do all the work that comes with it i.e. cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, school functions, sick days, ensure household is running smoothly, etc., I will gladly work and come home to a nice meal and a warm bath waiting for me. However, they don’t do that either!

Honestly, I think men want a certain sense of security from a woman as well. Not necessarily financial, but some of us don’t deal with uncertainty in a positive manner. However, I do think that if a man is not naturally wired to be a leader and provider then there is something wrong.

But reverse the situation . what real man wants to take care of a broke as* woman. That works both ways you know men and women are losers when it comes to that .I definitely will not be taking care of a broke women

YES! I for one am tired of getting a bad rap. Just because SOME men are douche bags doesnt mean we all are. And what do women do when a good guy wants to take care of them? They would rather have some guy with NO JOB, NO EDUCATION, and NO FUTURE because he’s bad and “just maybe they can change him”. Sooo stupid. Women need to take responsibility!

Yes men want to love, provide, and protect. They also want to feel the support from their woman as well. Men would do those things for a woman if he sees u having ‘wifey potential’. Not every man is going to think of you as ‘wifey’…no matter how good of a woman u think u are. Some will look for u to b the sugar mama, the cutty buddy, the safety net, the hoe. Jus like a woman would look at a man for those same things. Just gotta b real wit yaself. And think, just because the amount of men u experience arent the Love, Protect, and Provide men u are looking for, does not mean there are not any out there. As Cosby would say…’Steak dinner on a garbage can lid’. Some need to look at how they present themselves….just a thought

So many young men are growing up today without fathers training them on how to be real men. I agree with Randy too because there are some good men around who get passed over for bad boys, it seems like every guy in prison has a wife or girlfriend waiting on him at home.

We men do take responsibility of everything. I met some women who aren’t loving or caring but need to be responsible just like us men. Sure, I know some men are still little boys in them cuz they are too lazy or childish to be a man who take cares of women and provides and love them

I’m truly happy to be a Man that takes care of himself. I feel bad for my daughters with these Bullshit ass men walking around. But still, woman can’t just show up to the table empty handed and expect the queen treatment.

With so many single mothers raising sons, these men don’t have a positive male figure to teach them what a real man is. That being said, when you got a rash of women trying to be like reality skanks, men get skeptical. some figure, i’ll get her for her paper before she get me for mine.
