Why is my wife acting so nice after she cheated on me?

Hello. So my precious wife has been cheating for 1yr now. Currently we are in the process of getting a divorce. She is offerring me money to help me out with my apartment, food, clothes, everything. I dont need the money but all the things she put me through I’m thinking that’s the least she can do. She cheated on me with a wealthy guy. Should I take the money. My question to you guys is should I take the money when she offer it, why and why not? Why do you think she is acting like this?

If it is actual physical money don’t take it.
I personally never touch anything my husband has touched because I don’t want to contract leprosy or any of the other many diseases I am sure he has. (he is very disgusting)

Take the money babe! At least you can get something out of a horrible situation. save the money and buy you something nice. she is either acting like that because she is buttering you up for a divorce or she truly feels bad, which she should!! you are better off without her!

By all means.. take the money. She’s probably feeling guilty, or is wanting something the two of you shared and is trying to butter you up so she can get it or she is just trying to be nice because she knows she hurt you? There are a lot of reasons she could be acting this way, but whatever it is.. use it to your advantage the way she used you.

First take the money, apparently she seems to think it would make it easier on her if you except the money. It”s a motion of guilt. She seems like a descent person with bad morals.

Don’t take the money. Shes adding insult to injury. There might be many reasons why she wants to give you monies but one is mostly obvious. She feels terrible and wants to make it up to you by offering you a universal peace treaty, money! Be a man and walk away. It takes two to make a relationship work and two to end it. Tell her to keep her pennies and move on with her life.

From the sounds of it, she has a bank account that she’s been hiding and she’s only giving you a small amount of what’s in it. I’d talk to a lawyer before taking any money from her. If you take it, she might later say “well, I gave him some of that money, why does he still want more”
The only other thing I can think of is that she’s been out in the great big world and found out finding a nice guy is really hard to do and she’s re-considering getting a divorce. Which if I was you, I’d go thru with anyway, she’s shallow. You can find better.

She feels guilty about her destructive actions. Things tend to look clearer once consequences start.
If you are the one moving out, then most likely, she is getting most of the home assets.

It could be guilt. She may realize that she has done wrong or hurt you, and monetary compensation is her way to say that she is sorry or mend fences. I would not advise you to take the money if you do not really need it. I mean, really! It is not going to change what happened. It is not going to take the hurt away, and it is not going to fix what has been broken. You’d just be using her, and that would make you no better of a person than she was when she did what she did. Besides, taking the money out of spite obviously won’t hurt her. She must have the money to give if she is offering it. So, why would that help? The best thing you could do is forgive her, and move on if the situation calls for it. Holding on to past hurts and unforgiveness gives the person who hurt you power over you, and you don’t need that. Let her keep her money, and move on…

If she knows that your already aware that she’s cheating why not. I mean partners should separate in good deeds. Am still hoping that you can still be good friends after the divorce. Giving you money because she knows that you need it. Be practical, maybe she only wants to help you and still be your friend. I dont see any negative things she can do by giving you money. Good Luck!
